Just another musical Monday

Guess who.

oh. my. life. the weeping angels. shudder.

so today is monday (not nomday as i nearly typed. although I do prefer that...)
It is my sister Lily's birthday. bought her some shorts and a mug, one can never have too many mugs I feel.

went out for tea, then home for cake, stuck a sticker on her dressing gown... all in all it was good :o)

sax and flute teacher wants me to do sax and flute exams. not pleased by this. time to 'lose' my instruments for a period of approximately a year...

world dev was boring. lots of writing involved. don't tend to like anything that involves working nowadays. im getting knackered with old age....

music we had a rehearsal for the gig which is erm THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW. not even slightly joking, getting a bit panicky.... only because I have no idea what to wear. Presently I will be looking like a frumpy thing in my work trousers. stunner.

news! Joely is coming home on wednesday! mutti is well chuffed. he better have got me a prezzie.

oh oh oh!!!! I got an A in my english coursework! you have no idea how awesome that is. it is the best thing that's happened since this morning when I ate a really nice apple. I deffinitely deserve some form of reward. like a mansion.

so tomorrow is tuesday. it is recording day. that's right. we are making an album... lets see how THAT goes shall we!

one day I might actually write something inspiring and lifechanging on here. Today is not that day. Helen manages to write thought provoking and deep things on her blog. I should take a how-to-write-thought-provoking-and-deep-things-workshop from her. yes. that would work.

i fell down a hill today. what is with that?! my lovely slim not-fat-at-all-in-any-way-shape-or-form (note the sarcasm) are now destroyed and filled with denim fluff. rank.

but on the brightside I only had two lectures today. score :o)

thought I'd better lighten things up as theyve been a bit solemn around here latey!
so today has been lush. sun. friends. ice cream. more sun. bit more ice cream.
feeling very fatted up. thinking about going for a run. it will probably never happen. ever. we'll see...

so my lil bro Hobey is stuck in south africa due to the volcanic ash explosion... which blatantly isnt even vaguely real... can't see it people... hellooooo... are we all mad?!?! apparently yes.

For a thursday its actually been quite relaxing. friday tomoro and my lecture of the world development variety had been cancelled which means i finish at 12.10!!! i have fun packed day ahead of me i can tell you. well. no actually i can't tell you. but i'll tell you when i can tell you .... :o)

its half eigth and the sun is still awake. nice nice.

so! Next wednesday is my Final Major Project for my music award qualification. essentially its a massive concert and I want YOU vanilla face to be in attendance :oD

Hopefully should be some fun times occuring and we'll get some money for charity too. always a goody.

My Isla Cat Puss x

hi guys long time no seeeee

I've been meaning to blog for about a week but couldn't quite feel the vibes. You see I have some very very sad news. My much loved Isla Cat Puss has moved on to a better place with shrews galore to chase and a distinct lack of greyhounds. She and her sunny disposition and beautiful beautiful cat puss ness are free to roam the skys :o) I will miss her very much for as you all know she was a very special moggy. I love you my Isla Cat Puss:o)

So this change of erm status(?) presented me with a problem as to blog names, but I have decided I shall keep it as the marvellous Isla Cat Puss and the Cupcakes in memory of my beloved snuggly mog :o)
